105 villas are spread around the resort, carefully positioned to ensure breathtaking views and maximum privacy, and feature indigenous Cumaru wood, natural colour palettes and textiles from local artisans. All villas have a private plunge pool and terrace, bathroom with separate shower and bath, flatscreen TV, mini bar, WiFi and tea/coffee making facilities, with the option of a Treehouse elevated 12 metres above the forest floor or a Cliff Villa if you prefer to be at ground level. The Grand Villas offer one or two bedrooms, some with a larger pool, hot tub and extra amenities like a welcome bottle of Champagne and daily afternoon canapés. The two storey, three bedroom Villa One sleeps up to eight guests and includes a private cinema, wine cellar, spa, gym and private infinity pool, plus a dedicated butler and chef, golf buggy with personal driver and your own reserved cabana at the Jetty Beach Club.

Dramatically set below the ancient amphitheatre, overlooking the medieval rooftops of Taormina, the location of the Timeo is just sublime. It's the perfect place to sip a Bellini and gaze across the volcanic coastline of Sicily at the hazy outline of Mount Etna on the horizon. One of the most scenically situated hotels in the Mediterranean, combining old world charm with hearty Sicilian hospitality, a perfect base from which to explore this extraordinary island.
